Our Mission & Vision

The mission of FUEL Church is to CONNECT with the Body, SERVE the community and GROW in our relationship with Jesus Christ. This is all done in a way that is simple, caring and biblical.

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd.  Jesus is the senior pastor of FUEL and we serve proportionally in pastoral roles as He leads.  The men who lead the church must lead like Jesus—not to replace him, but to follow him and serve his people according to their need, as described in the Bible. Though we are imperfect and incomplete, by God’s grace we can still reflect the One who teaches, loves, and leads the way to glory.

Shane Waldrop, Preaching & Vision Pastor

Shane Waldrop has been a speaker/pastor for more than 15 years, with experience from cities as large as New Orleans, LA, to communities as small as Pocola, OK. His diverse, multi-cultured background with people in all walks of life makes him one of the most qualified pastors in the country. Shane possesses a unique ability to clearly unearth and teach the simple truths found in scripture without slanted doctrine.

He carries a “Simple-Caring-Bible” theology with him on the street as well as in the church and truly spends most of his time speaking from the trenches rather than from the pulpit. Shane pushes Christ followers to “be” the church—not “go to” church, and naturally invites the lost to engage in a passionate, deep, and personal relationship with Christ Jesus.

Always on the edge of innovative evangelism, Shane will usually be found where the lost are, following the model Jesus left in order to bring the gospel to the people—not bring the people to the gospel. He is currently the preaching pastor of the multi-site venue known as Fuelchurch.tv, which headquarters in Poteau, OK.   He and his elder team are known for reaching out to individuals who have been burned out, ignored, and often ostracized by the remaining church community.

Shane also serves as part of the executive elder team.
